Getting started
Install
Section titled “Install”- Visit kiromi.ai/download and download the latest
.dmg. - Drag kiromi to your Applications folder.
- On first launch, macOS will ask whether to allow audio capture and accessibility access. Approve both.
Verify the download
Section titled “Verify the download”The download page shows a SHA-256 checksum. To verify:
shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/kiromi-*.dmgThe output should match the hash on the download page.
Record your first meeting
Section titled “Record your first meeting”Open kiromi and press ⌘ + Shift + R at any time to start a recording. The menu-bar icon glows while recording.
When you’re done, press the same shortcut again. Transcription runs locally — typically faster than realtime — and appears in Meetings when ready.
