Getting started

  1. Visit kiromi.ai/download and download the latest .dmg.
  2. Drag kiromi to your Applications folder.
  3. On first launch, macOS will ask whether to allow audio capture and accessibility access. Approve both.

The download page shows a SHA-256 checksum. To verify:

Terminal window
shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/kiromi-*.dmg

The output should match the hash on the download page.

Open kiromi and press + Shift + R at any time to start a recording. The menu-bar icon glows while recording.

When you’re done, press the same shortcut again. Transcription runs locally — typically faster than realtime — and appears in Meetings when ready.
